SP GROUP SELLS BROWNFIELD GOPALPUR PORT

The Shapoorji Pallonji Group has announced the sale of its brownfield Gopalpur Port to Adani Ports and SEZ for an enterprise value of Rs 3,350 crore. This marks the second port divestment by the diversified conglomerate in recent months, following the earlier divestment of its Dharamtar Port to JSW Infrastructure for an enterprise value of Rs 710 crore.

These asset sales reflect the SP Group's commitment to deleveraging and its strategy of planned asset monetization with leading counterparts in the industry.
