Meet an amazing countryman with a remarkable life

North Yorkshire clay shooting club Thimbleby Shooting Ground is sharing the fascinating story behind the gentleman who makes the bespoke walking sticks sold in the club's gunroom. Visitors to Thimbleby Shooting Ground, which is located on the fringes of the North York Moors near Northallerton, can enjoy clay shooting lessons, and competitions, airgun shooting, hot food and drinks in the clubhouse cafe and a browse of the clothing, accessories and footwear in the gunroom - which is where they will spot the beautiful walking sticks made by 91-year-old Jim Bunney.
