As far as doting dads go, Prince Albert of Monaco – father of two children with his wife Charlene, plus two or perhaps even three love children – is hardly in the hall of fame.
But in recent months, sources say he’s “stepped up” to look after his six-year-old twins, Princess Gabriella and Prince Jacques, allowing his wife Princess Charlene to “go AWOL” as she weighs up whether she will stay in her marriage to the royal.
The Zimbabwe-born former swimmer has shocked courtiers in recent months with a series of erratic moves.
Earlier this year, Charlene, 43, revealed a cropped and shaved “punk rock” style hairdo, and has since cut it even shorter, in what many insiders believe is a direct rebellion against her husband’s alleged indiscretions.
