Continuity is key
The life cycle of your skin cells is around 28 days, although some studies suggest this can slow to around 40 days with age. This determines how long it takes for a cell to be created deep within the skin, travel up through various layers and arrive at the surface, inactive and ready to shed. This process is the reason that new skin habits or active ingredients need a consistent month’s use to really change your skin.
