Harry Kane Q&A
Tottenham Hotspur Publications|Spurs v RB Leipzig
Continuing our Q&A feature for this season – using the year of the Club’s formation as inspiration – as we ask our players to choose 18 lifestyle questions from a selection of 82. This evening, England international Harry Kane is in the hotseat.
Harry Kane Q&A

1. What is the best advice you’ve been given?

Harry: “I wasn’t given this advice, but it was something that I has stuck with me from a documentary I watched. It was Tom Brady talking about believing in yourself, questioning that if you don’t believe in yourself, how do you expect any manager, coach or teammate to believe in you. I heard it at a stage of my career where I had a lot of work to do if I was going to make it to the first team. And it really just gave me that mindset to believe in myself and that focus of, ‘if I keep doing what I’m doing, progressing the way I want, then one day I would be able to make it to the top.”

2. Do you do the washing up?

Harry: “I would love to say yes but I can’t take a lot of credit for doing the washing up at home. Obviously, if I’ve had dinner on my own or had a coffee, I’ll wash up but the majority of stuff, no.”

3. Which player is putting the playlist together at the moment - and is it any good?

Harry: “It used to me, in the first couple of years with Mauricio Pochettino, while we were at White Hart Lane. I kind of took the reins, made a playlist, added to it every now and then. I love music, no one else put themselves forward but I was young, so I put myself out there and got some good reviews! It got a bit repetitive because we were playing about 50 games a season but by the end, a few of the foreign lads had learned the English words so it wasn’t a bad thing. Now its Dele, he’s taken over. I’ve retired my duties and let him take it on. His playlist is alright, not as good as mine but, he’s getting there.”
