HART IN THE RIGHT PLACE
Joe Hart is a serial winner. He has had a career of tremendous success. Two Premier League titles, two League Cups and an FA Cup plus so much more on an individual level. Add to that 75 caps for his country - he has achieved things in football that many could only dream about.

But don’t be mistaken. While he may now be 33 and has had, by his description, a ‘difficult’ last few years in the game, Joe feels he has so much still left to give. And, when speaking to him, you wouldn’t question that belief in the slightest.

Towering over nearly the whole squad at 6ft5in, the Shrewsburyborn shot-stopper has an assuredness about himself, yet he is also self-aware. He is confident and charismatic but for him, the work never stops. He has a mentality and an endeavor to continuously develop. He is a true professional. It is no surprise then, with such professionalism, that he has accomplished so much in his career.

Those achievements serve as a testament of just what Joe brings to our Club, both on and off the pitch. His experience in the game could prove so valuable this season.

Having endured a frustrating spell with former side Burnley where, in the last 18 months, he played just three competitive games, the goalkeeper feels that moving to north London is a fresh start for him.

And you get that strong sense of optimism from him - there is much positivity and excitement. He has a glint in his eye and a smile when he talks about his first few weeks at the

Club. There is a freshness, a renewed vigor and that can only be a good thing for both Joe and us.
