Fun Learning through Games
Tejasvi

Getting children to study at home can be a struggle for parents. Moreover, the lockdown has exposed kids to an unhealthy dose of daily screen time; where studying and playing both mean looking at a device in close proximity. A healthier solution is involving children in playing simple games that keep them engaged and work as learning tools at the same time. Games have a three-in-one role here: promoting family bonding, helping in the child’s physical and mental development, and reducing screen time.

Most of us have grown up in the pre-digital era, playing with checkers, scrabble, chess, ludo and monopoly. Children now are not satisfied with these options and seek games with ‘stories’, just like the many mobile-based fantasy games surrounding them. Luma World has researched deep into the child’s need for stories and the parent’s need to teach. The result is a platter of board games, card games, flashcards, books and DIY printable games. They open up a world of imagination, teaching children lifetime values and skills through fun activities.

For children four years and above – 7 even

Learning through games is good for younger children too. Fantasy worlds are more believable for them, so picking up concepts or developing skills are easier at the formative stage between two and six years. 7even is a game that is more of a trick, where the child gets to feel like a performing magician.

7even is totally DIY. It can be downloaded and printed from https://lumaworld.in/pages/7even

Steps to perform the 7even trik:
