PLANS have been unveiled for a new restaurant to open on Plymouth's Barbican.
Loungers UK Ltd has submitted a scheme which would see the firm take over the former Edinburgh Woollen Mill premises.
The prominent and striking glass store on the waterfront closed in May last year. It was remained vacant ever since. While the store was one of 246 Edinburgh Woollen Mill and Ponden Home stores that were saved when the retailers were bought out of administration in late 2020, it only lasted a further 18 months before closing.
