Tawa Dam Gates Opened, Narmada Water Level Up

The water level of the Narmada increased on Sunday morning because of heavy rains during the past several days and because of opening of all the 13 gates of Tawa dam.

The water level slightly reduced by the evening, but chances of flood are still there, said sources in the district administration.

When the water level of the river increased, a large number of people rushed to the Neelkhanth bank of the Narmada to see its rising water.
