State capital experiencing sporadic rain throughout the day on Tuesday will soon experience moderate to heavy rainfall, along with Indore, Jabalpur and Ujjain.

Many districts in divisions like Hoshangabad, Rewa, Shahdol and Jabalpur received heavy rainfall as monsoon remained active in the state, especially eastern parts.

Sluice gates of Bhadbhada dam were opened to release excess water from Upper Lake. Kolar dam recorded 457.96meter against 462.20meter full tank limit (FTL).
