BUT I’M STILL WONDERING HOW GREEN BELT MURAL GOT THERE ....

I love my Wonder Wall!

WHEN a mural from a prolific Greater Manchester graffiti artist appeared on the side of her home, Nickie Hadley knew nothing about it.

The 50-year-old, from Hyde, had been fast asleep when Mr. Eggs got to work on his creation - inspired by the campaign to protect nearby Godley Green from development.

Luckily for the Salford-based artist, Nickie fell in love with it.

She said: "I woke up in the morning and two neighbours were stood outside.

“I went to the front window, they waved and said 'we love it! "I came out and it was there."

The artwork features a 'save our green belt' banner flying behind a biplane, and a young boy on a tractor placing a brick on top of a pile in his trailer.
