Call in police over 'No 10 festive bash'

BRITAIN'S top civil servant has been asked to call in the police to investigate lockdown-busting Downing Street parties.

Angela Rayner wrote to Cabinet Secretary Simon Case demanding the move over claims No 10 hosted social gatherings in breach of virus rules in the run-up to last Christmas.

Amid the fall-out from our exclusive story, Labour's deputy leader asked Mr Case if he had been aware of the alleged gatherings. And she suggested a probe into the use of Government property for the events and the role played by the PM and officials.
