PEP GUARDIOLA has warned Manchester City's title rivals that Kevin De Bruyne is moving into top gear after an injury and Covidhit start to the season.
The City manager says he has seen signs in De Bruyne's two most recent outings that the midfielder is finally over the problems that have dogged his campaign.
And he predicted that the Belgian will hit full speed as City set out on the second half of the season against Brentford tonight. "He's getting better. I don't think he has a long way to go before he is back to his best,” said Guardiola.
“Kevin struggled at the beginning of the season and is now much, much better.
“The Leeds game was really good and Leicester was really good all game. He played exceptionally well against Leicester.
