It's the android tab to beat. Samsung unveiled three variants of its flagship S8 Tab series along with the S22 trio of smartphones. It's the top-of-the-line Ultra edition that is the showstopper.
It all begins with the expansive 14.6-inch Super AMOLED display (2960 x 1848 pixels) with a 120Hz refresh rate. It's tough to find a more immersive tablet screen. Samsung manages to keep the thickness to just 6.3mm and the heft just above 700gm, making it extremely portable. The Ultra is powered by a cutting-edge Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor that combines with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of Internal storage. A robust 11200 mAh battery has you covered for those all-night Netflix binge sessions.
It's not just the 256GB of internal storage, Samsung offers expandable storage (up to 1 TB via Micro SD card support) that allows you to carry all your work with you. You also get lighting quick file transfers thanks to support for USB Type-C drives. The Ultra's productivity pitch is centred around Samsung's proprietary DeX solution that mimics a laptop-style navigation experience. You can also add the optional 2-in-1 Book Cover Keyboard that allows you to flit to work mode in a flash. The large screen and Samsung's custom Ul allow you to switch to split-screen mode that gives you extra flexibility when you work.
