A mother and former airline cabin manager turned erotic fiction author is Australia’s answer to Fifty Shades of Grey.
Karen Bleakley, 47, from Sunbury in Victoria, self-published a raunchy title named Behind Closed Doors: The Society, a novel she swears will spice up any relationship and warns is “not for the faint-hearted”.
Karen says her titillating read will rival EL James’ wildly popular erotic-romance trilogy.
“I’ve never had any formal training, but I always knew I would write a book. I was just waiting for the right time – and I had the idea during the whole Fifty Shades phenomenon,” Karen tells New Idea.
