TOUGH DECISIONS ARE MADE FOR THE SAKE OF THE FAMILY
GEORGE & AMAL MOVING FOR THEIR MARRIAGE

George Clooney has poured an estimated $2 million into transforming his longtime Los Angeles bachelor pad into a family-friendly estate over the past three years, but his wife Amal still isn't happy in the City of Angels.

According to sources, Amal "has tried so hard" to fit in with Hollywood movers and shakers for her husband's sake, but she finds "she just doesn't fit in as much in LA".

One of the world's top legal minds, barrister Amal spends her days working on complex human rights' cases. As such there's only so many showbiz dinners with George's pals - where the conversation invariably turns to film production that she can take.

Soon after their marriage in 2014, George and Amal started splitting their time between the US, a Thames riverside home in England and their villa in Lake Como, Italy.

When their 4-year-old twins Ella and Alex were born, the couple's jet-set lifestyle was effectively grounded. George, 60, insisted that they make the Studio City home he bought in 1995 their base.
