Instead of encouraging you to buy more products, a new fad is giving you the option of stripping back your routine. It’s called ‘skin fasting’. Let’s break it down for you: It’s the act of avoiding all skincare products for 1 to 4 days in a bid to give your face a detox. It has been popularised by Mirai Clinical, a Japanese beauty brand dedicated to sharing unique beauty secrets. The method is based on the premise that fasting can, at times, lead to a healing process.
