Common entry points into the industry include a group training gig, like an aerobics, yoga, spinning or boot camp instructor certification as many of these courses don’t require foundational qualifications and often take as little as a few days to complete.

Chasing your dream

What often happens – somewhat inevitably – is that the fulfillment that comes from doing something you are truly passionate about becomes all-consuming. Soon you’ve convinced yourself that personal training and coaching are what you what do do for the rest of your life. While this decision can seem absolutely exhilarating, it also be overwhelming daunting. Unfortunately, making the transition isn’t as simple as flicking a switch. There is a natural progression and a number of important steps to take before quitting your day job to chase your dream of turning your fitness side hustle into a full-time gig.
