How has The Cocktail Story evolved?
The Cocktail Story is India's first digital platform that builds an ecosystem of the hospitality industry, AlcoBev brands, and spirit enthusiasts. It was founded in 2018 with an aim to champion Indian bartenders and homegrown brands through empowering them, providing a platform to leverage for greater opportunities. In the unprecedented year 2020, the alcobev industry witnessed various challenges as the first few initial months saw a complete lockdown, and social distancing norms were quickly adapted. The bartenders working across bars lost their platforms to cater to consumer needs and showcase their skills. To help empower and provide them with new opportunities, we conducted a survey that captured the job market across India and how the pandemic has affected jobs their jobs, and through the survey, we were able to identify the bartenders that required support and provided them opportunities online to showcase their skills.
