Abhay Kewadkar, MD of Tetrad Global Beverages and India’s first winemaker relates his experiences as an entrepreneur and the company's growth plans.

How did you make the transition from professional to entrepreneur?

Such decisions are always tough. I have been always wanting to do this, but I suppose there has to be a good time for everything. Having worked in the industry for a long time and developed good contacts globally, such a transition was obvious in many ways.

How is Tetrad Beverages faring?

We have already launched our wines in the markets of Karnataka, Maharashtra, West Bengal, and Tamil Nadu. Over the next three to six months we will be present in the markets of Goa, AP/Telangana, Kerala, and Delhi.
