Embodying Fendi Mens DNA, Jamie Campbell Bower once again fronts the brands masculine eyewear collection this season.
Jamie Campbell Bower’s multifaceted career has seen him dabbling in film, modelling, and more recently, music. He has done it all, but in particular, his venture into music has been remarkable. Making up a fifth of the English punk-rock band Counterfeit alongside his brother, Bower’s upbringing proved pivotal in his pursuit of self-expression through music. Armed with his mother’s music managerial background and his father’s work with the Gibson Guitar Corporation, he naturally assumed the mantle of lead singer and guitarist when the band burst onto the scene in 2015. Through his music, Bower visits themes of anger and loss. With this medium, he is able to let his raw, unfiltered thoughts manifest and take form, which he was unable to accomplish through acting.
“Sweat, loud noises, and a sea of black” is how Jamie wanted to set the stage for all of his live shows. As Counterfeit belt out lyrics that scream an appealing tone of edginess, Bower beseeches his audience to adopt a rebellious yet unwavering stand against injustice. It is clear that the 30-year-old does not view life behind rosetinted lens. However, offstage, he does don some fancy lens for Fendi.
