THE BIRTH OF A SUSTAINABLE BEAUTY SALON
Meraki is the product of a dream Nadine and I had, back in 2009 (I think), when I was a regular client at the salon she used to work at. She’d do my treatments, and we’d joke about starting a salon of our own one day because we wanted to work for ourselves and create steady jobs for other people. In 2013, Nadine started her own business, which was successful. But she wanted to expand it to create more jobs. So in 2017, we combined Nadine’s experience and network with my background in finance and felt ready to take the next step and make our dream a reality.
AIM TO BE DIFFERENT
Meraki is more than just another beauty or aesthetics salon. Aesthetically, it’s not quite like anything you’ve seen before. It’s modern and edgy without being cold. We keep our staff complement small and focus on employees’ wellbeing and work-life balance, as much for ourselves as we do for our clients. Our team is highly skilled, experienced and exceptionally well trained. We focus on being as environmentally conscious as possible, while still adhering to health and safety requirements.
