LOVE AND LIGHT

Diwali has always been a festival close to our hearts and this year, we brought in the festival of lights with the brilliant Volkswagen Taigun
LOVE AND LIGHT
SPENDING TIME WITH FAMILY AND FRIENDS, that’s what our festivals are all about. For all of us here at evo India, as we are sure for many of you dear readers, this Diwali was an opportunity to go back to the old normal. Some of us headed home to be with family. The rest of us had our doors and mithai boxes open, welcoming family and friends over. And we spent plenty of time driving all over town visiting extended family and friends while offering a very vocal thank you for things returning, almost, to how they used to be; enjoying in fact the things we once used to grumble about. Like driving across town on a holiday.

For us at evo India our days are filled with hours and hours behind the ’wheel. And truth be told fighting traffic isn’t the most fun; last thing we want to do on our holidays is spend more time stuck behind the ’wheel fighting traffic snarls. But this holiday things were different. We actually wanted to go visiting. Because many had probably gone home there were no traffic jams to deal with. And we had the new Volkswagen Taigun to take us all over.

“What car did you drive here?”, is the first question we were asked after hugs, greetings and sweets were exchanged. And upon hearing it is the new Taigun invariably everybody trooped down to get a good look at it. All the noise around this new mid-size SUV has not fallen on deaf ears because one look at the cherry red Taigun and everybody knew it was the GT. Along with the Curcuma Yellow this is the hero colour for the larger 1.5 TSI motor and Volkswagen seem to have done a damn fine job of positioning the GT at the top of the range; making it more aspirational and premium.

And affordable.
