Linda wished Madame Stella would hurry up. It's all in the stars! the pop-up ad on her Facebook page had proclaimed. Instant answers to your heart's desire!

What did Linda's heart most desire? A lovely new chap, that's what. It was six years since she'd lost Ron and, while she would always miss him, she didn't want to be alone forever.

She had tentatively dipped a toe into the waters of online dating but, so far, nothing. Linda instinctively felt fate needed to lend a hand. And that's where Madame Stella came in. The only thing was, once Linda had revealed on the face-to-face video session that her star sign was Pisces, the so-called teller of fortunes had promptly fallen into a kind of trance.

Linda jumped as Madame Stella suddenly came to... 'There will be an instant attraction,' the fortune teller intoned, eyelids fluttering. 'You'll recognise each other at once. You'll finish each other's sentences. You'll be soulmates. But you will have to do the running, Linda. Be bold, be brave. Take the bull by the horns!'

'So he's a Taurus, then?' asked Linda.

Madame Stella shook her head, her eyes fully open now. 'No, dear. A Pisces like you.'
