Making the pattern
On a photocopier, enlarge the pattern by 170%. Trace the pattern on to tracing paper. Mark the details and arrow. Cut out the pattern.
Cutting out and preparation
Cut out one pair of cushions. Trace the roof, outer door, outer porthole, inner door, inner porthole, heart and door knob on to bonding web. Roughly cut out the pieces, leaving a border around each piece. Press the roof on to the wrong side of coral fabric, the outer door on to the wrong side of orange fabric, the outer porthole, heart and doorknob on to the wrong side of red fabric, and the inner door and inner porthole on to the wrong side of cream fabric.
Cut out the pieces neatly. Peel off the backing papers. Arrange the roof, outer door and outer porthole on the right side of one cushion, press in place. Position the remaining pieces on top and press in place.
