In India, women are widely accepted in fields like education and healthcare but face tougher challenges in corporate leadership. Having built a successful career in the corporate world, how do you view this evolving dynamic?

In corporate India, the story is still being written — we're at an inflection point. Leadership today is evolving from command and control to collaboration, agility, and resilience — qualities women naturally bring to the workplace.

Of course, the challenges are still very real. Structural barriers and cultural biases don't disappear overnight. Many women still find themselves having to prove their competence before their potential is even considered. Access to mentorship, networks, and visible role models remains uneven — especially outside metro cities. But what's changing is the conversation. It's no longer 'should women lead?' — it's 'how do we create ecosystems where women can lead and thrive?'

For me personally, leadership has always been about credibility through consistency — showing up, doing the work, and staying true to who you are. Authenticity is my biggest strength. And as more organizations embrace diverse leadership styles — not just in gender but in perspective — we'll see a corporate culture that's far more innovative and inclusive. That's India Inc. I want to help shape.

What was the most pivotal moment in your career that shaped your success?

When I think about my career, it's hard to point to one single pivotal moment. For me, it's been a journey — a sum of many experiences and choices that have shaped who I am. Success, I've learned, isn't about one big break but about saying 'Yes' to opportunities, stepping up, and delivering authentically.
