Family and friends are rallying around the cricket legend
He's one of the toughest cricketers to ever play the game and one of the nicest blokes to ever don the baggy green.
So, when former Australian cricket captain Allan Border, or AB as he's best known, went public last week and revealed he's been battling Parkinson's disease for the past seven years, he wanted to make one thing clear - he didn't want anyone to feel sorry for him.
"I get the feeling I'm a hell of a lot better off than most," he shared with News Corp. "At the moment I'm not scared, not about the immediate future anyway. I'm [almost] 68. If I make 80 that'll be a miracle."
