Presenter and Loose Women panellist Gloria Hunniford on why she won't retire – and still has career goals

At 85, Gloria Hunniford is Loose Women's oldest panellist. But despite being at an age where most people would be putting their feet up – and despite cuts to the ITV daytime show looming – the presenter is determined to stay on our screens. 'I've no plans to retire, absolutely not,' she insists. Here the star explains why work is her 'safe place' and reveals her plans to still be presenting in her 90s...

WORKING HARD

Her career spans almost five decades but there's a reason that Gloria isn't ready to call it a day. 'I find work stimulating – it keeps the brain ticking over,' says the Rip-Off Britain star. 'I don't want to sit in a chair at home doing crosswords or watching TV all day long.' Adding, 'I like socialising.'
