The Duke of York, and his ex-wife Sarah Ferguson, were said to be 'uninvited' from the family celebrations and traditional walk to church on Christmas Day, keeping a low profile in Windsor.

This was in light of the astonishing story that Prince Andrew had been befriended by a suspected Chinese spy who was later banned from the UK.

As if the story could not get more murky, the man in question, Yang Tengbo, had run the Chinese arm of the duke's entrepreneurial scheme Pitch@Palace.
