I think perhaps Megan and I are not alone in the way we gravitate to hiding away in our house. I feel there are many people who have some element of aversion to constant entertaining.

Not to say we don't enjoy a dinner party. We do! We just don't seem to possess the hosting gene as some others do. Megan's family appreciates this so much that when they suggest dinner at our place, they bring everything to make it happen.

When we were looking for a new house at the beginning of this year, anything that had "entertainer's dream" in the description we would rule out immediately. I'm surprised real estate agents haven't cottoned on to this large and silent market. I would wager descriptions like "Introvert's dream" and "Troglodyte heaven" would sell more houses than you imagine.
