IT'S BEEN A STEADY RISE FOR THE SUNSHINE STATE'S capital, and now Brisbane CBD has truly come into its own with the opening of hospitality group Dap & Co's latest venture, The Fifty Six. The restaurant takes its place within Naldham House, a dynamic four-tiered venue, which began to unfurl itself in November. First to open was the Brasserie, its swish groundfloor eatery. Next came open-air bar The Terrace and Club Felix, a jazzy cocktail bar. Now, the hub has rounded things out with its crowning Cantonese restaurant, The Fifty Six, paying homage to the influence of Chinese migration on Brisbane's dining landscape.
