"My inward search of preserving traditions is informed by nostalgia and a need to record Kashmiri identity," says Onaiza Drabu, author of The Legend of Himal and Nagrai and cofounder of Sonth, a handicraft business. Drabu, who grew up in Srinagar, shares her favourite spots in a city whose appeal, she finds, moves with the seasons.
