Tech Advisor's Best of IFA 2025 Awards

IFA 2025 is a huge tech show which takes place annually in Berlin, Germany, and Tech Advisor is always snooping high and low for the latest and greatest gadgets.

Our roving reporters have clocked up more steps than would be considered advisable – their fitness trackers wondering what's going on - to get hands-on with the best new phones, tablets, smartwatches, robot vacuum cleaners and much more. Just as we did last year, we give awards to only the top devices, the ones we genuinely want to own. Without further ado, here are the Tech Advisor Best of IFA 2025 awards.

Samsung decided to launch its Galaxy Tab S11 flagship tablets at IFA this year, and the Tab S11 Ultra is undoubtedly the star of the show.

Its main selling point - that massive 14.6-inch AMOLED display - remains the highlight, but there are some nice upgrades in other areas. A move to MediaTek's 3nm Dimensity 9400+ chipset should deliver a nice performance boost, while the slimmer build and revamped S Pen are welcome improvements.

The tablet also ships running Android 16-based One UI 8, the latest version of Samsung's tablet software, which includes loads of Al features and support for a more advanced version of DeX, the company's desktop experience. You also get a full seven years of updates.

Battery capacity has been boosted slightly to 11,600mAh, while 45-watt wired charging remains. But ultimately, this is a case of the most advanced Android tablet we've ever seen getting a small but potentially significant upgrade.

Sadly, there's been no change to the starting price, so it'll set you back at least £1,099 - and it's on sale now.
