Kia's Carens Clavis EV pushes the brand's mass-market EV strategy into a tech-forward, family-size form factor with 7 seater MPV, pairing multi-pack batteries and fast DC charging with a connected software stack and a broad charging ecosystem built into the ownership experience.

E-powertrain

At the core are two liquid-cooled lithium-ion packs—approximately 42 kWh and 51.4 kWh—matched to single-speed drive units, delivering claimed ranges of roughly 404 km and 490 km respectively depending on configuration. Powertrains with front-wheel drive, using a permanent-magnet synchronous motor for high torque density and efficiency in urban and highway cycles. Regeneration is multilevel (four selectable levels), enabling one-pedal-style deceleration and recuperation tuning across traffic, downhill, and highway contexts.
