Streamer The Google TV Streamer sees a change of direction for Google's assault on the biggest screen in your home. Presenting a more substantial streaming option than the old Chromecast, it now has a set-top box design and marks a new approach to getting Android on your TV.

That means there's space for physical connections on the box itself. It now connects via an HDMI cable to your TV (the cable isn't supplied), supporting the 2.1 standard for a higher-bandwidth connection and (in theory) higher framerates at higher resolutions.
