SONOS MOVE 2

The Move 2 is a proper Sonos multiroom speaker at home, and offers the flexibility to take it out and about and use it with WiFi or Bluetooth from your phone. And it brings a slew of improvements over the older version: an updated interface, stereo capability and drastically extended battery life.

Like its predecessor, it's quite weighty at 3kg. It's 24cm tall and IP56 water-resistant, with a wireless charging stand (a pleasingly long 2m cable is supplied) and a rubberised base housing the battery.

Coming in a new outdoorsy green, as well as the usual black and white matt finishes, the new design is very similar to the older model. There's just a new volume slider alongside the other touch controls for normal audio functions.
