30 YEARS OF HONORING COMMITMENTS MADE DYΝΑΙMIC AUTOMOTIVE THE CO-100 TOP BUSINESS OF 2025

THE RIGHT DYNAMIC

Cars used to be pretty simple. Sure, there are those of us who wouldn't know a carburetor from a crankshaft in any timeline. But for professionals, the make and model might change, but the basics were the same. Then, like in every other facet of life, new technologies took hold and cars got a lot more complex. Today, there are still plenty of internal-combustion engines, but there are also electric cars, hybrids, hydrogen-powered vehicles, and even ones that drive themselves. A good mechanic has to know how to fix them all.

“It used to be that technology, you know, every 5 to 10 years you would have a major step up and upgrade. It seems like now every month or every six months there’s a major change in our industry,” Dwayne Myers, co-owner and CEO of Maryland’s Dynamic Automotive, told Reboot. “It’s a challenge to keep up, but with our commitment to education, we’re able to do that. We do a lot of training. Literally, I just had eight of us out in Vegas for conventions for training on new technology and what’s coming down the road. We keep up with it by making that investment in our team, but it is a challenge because it is changing so fast. But that is also exciting. We love fixing everything.”

That commitment to learning is one reason Dynamic Automotive is the U.S. Chamber of Commerce’s CO—100 Top Business of 2025. But it's far from the only one. The business makes similar commitments to its customers and employees. Myers spoke with Reboot about how they do it.
