The DiskStation DS225+ sits towards the bottom of Synology's wide range of NAS and storage devices. It's marketed at business users, but it's also well suited to general home use, with a strong operating system and a range of powerful apps. This is a two-bay device, without support for NVMe disks. Although there are cheaper two-bay enclosures, the DS225+ is still competitively priced.
