Drink more water with WaterMinder

WE ALL KNOW how important the act of drinking water is for maintaining optimum health.

From supporting healthy organ function to preventing dehydration, water is vital. Many of us also know that we probably don't drink enough water and other fluids during a typical day. The question is, how do we monitor our exact intake and stay adequately hydrated?

The WaterMinder app can ably assist, and is a handy tool that will provide a way of logging your fluid intake, but will also nudge you with a friendly reminder when you don’t appear to be drinking enough. While the basic app is free, a subscription gives you access to premium features such as custom drinks and Apple Watch integration. Challenges and achievements provide motivation to keep going. You can also download your data as a spreadsheet.

Upon launching the app, you're asked to give it access to your Apple Health app to help it function optimally. Tap Continue, then, on the Health Access screen, either tap Turn On All or select individual data items it is allowed to write or read.
