XIAOMI REDMI 15 A BUDGET POWERHOUSE
Exhibit
|October 2025
The Xiaomi Redmi 15 is the latest addition to Xiaomi's lineup in India, positioned in the budget segment with a starting price of ₹14,999 for the base variant (6GB RAM + 128GB storage).
As an entry-level model, it aims to attract price-conscious consumers with its strong performance, large battery, and big display. While competing against brands like Realme, Vivo, and iQOO, the question remains: Does the Redmi 15 have what it takes to stand out in the sub-₹15,000 market?
BUILD & DESIGN
The Redmi 15 showcases a functional design in line with Xiaomi's ethos of affordable premium aesthetics. The matte marble-style back resists fingerprints, adding a premium touch. Weighing around 217 grams due to its large 7,000mAh battery, the ergonomic design with curved edges ensures comfort during prolonged use.
It features a substantial 6.9-inch Full HD+ IPS LCD, ideal for media and gaming, although the thick chin at the bottom detracts from its modern look compared to competitors like the Vivo T4x. The display is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3 and has an IP64 rating for dust and splash resistance.
