What paradigm shifts do you see happening in this industry?

The topics of sustainability and energy efficiency are currently dominating the industrial coating technology sector. The increasing focus on sustainable and energy-efficient processes is also reflected in numerous technological developments presented by the exhibitors at Paint-expo 2024: With energy-saving system concepts, resource-saving applications and modern software, among other things, users of the technology consume less energy and can save valuable resources in the coating processes in the long term.

Visitors to PaintExpo 2024 can find out about such a development at the booth of plant manufacturer AFOTEK, among others: "AFOTEK Clean" is a biological exhaust air purification system that converts gaseous, organic pollutants into harmless or odorless products by oxidizing them into carbon dioxide and water. Another example is that WAGNER will be presenting wet paint application systems that focus on sustainability and saving solvents, materials and energy. In addition, the products and systems increase productivity in the coating process thanks to their ease of operation and optimized process control.
