TOP TALENT HAD 'MAGIC AT HIS FEET'

Kaylen Dennis – a Walthamstow under 23s player and much-loved member of Barnet FC’s CH Bees Academy – died while playing for his college side in Bedfordshire on Wednesday.

“I have no words, we’re all devastated,” Walthamstow U23 boss Jason Geraghty told The NLP. “I can’t speak any higher of him, he was so loved.

“Technically, he was unplayable at times – a top, top player who 100 per cent had a professional career in front of him, and he was an outstanding young man to boot.”

Kaylen grew up playing under former Stevenage and Enfield midfielder Geraghty as an under-13 for Ryan FC before moving up to play for partner club Walthamstow FC, scoring 40 goals in the Eastern Junior Alliance League last season.
