Jacques Anquetil had retired from racing by the time this model was made, but his legendary status ensured he could still sell bikes. Former British amateur racer turned entrepreneur Ron Kitching knew as much and, together with André Bertin, his partner in the Milremo component brand, began to produce frames under the five-time Tour winner's name.
