Given how often horrible bio-monster related disasters seem to happen in the world of Resident Evil, getting dragged into survival horror hell is probably just a regular workplace hazard, especially if you're an FBI agent. Doubly likely if you're at all related to a previous (if obscure) RE protagonist.

We're just a couple months from the release of Resident Evil Requiem (aka Resident Evil 9), and Capcom has kept announcements on the game dialled down to spoiler-resistant drip-feed. This time round, players will be stepping into the office shoes of young FBI agent Grace Ashcroft, daughter of Alyssa Ashcroft, reporter, Raccoon City survivor and one of the playable characters from the coop Outbreak series way back on PS2.
