Reboots used to be events, and announced as such. Now we're just stuck in an endless reboot loop. Who's Batman this year? Ben Affleck? R-Patz? Derek Zoolander? Doesn't matter: you'll sit through yet another slightly different retelling of Bruce Wayne's origin story and everyone will coo and drool over how unprecedentedly "dark" and "moody" the new director has made it, compared to the cartoonish frivolity and lightheartedness of Zack Snyder's efforts.
