From Trillium’s Fahrenheit 451 to Westwood Studios’ Blade Runner, games have a tradition of convincing (albeit sometimes confusingly titled) unofficial sequels to our best-loved dystopian stories. Like the aforementioned classics, the noncanonical RoboCop: Rogue City picked up where the originals left off, blending into the futuristic urban hellscape that inspired it, even if it lacked the satirical bite of the 1987 film. Now Unfinished Business is ready to spin the fiction out further. Originally planned as DLC, this latest addition to that transmedia saga has grown beyond its initial scope. The result is fitter and leaner than the first game, yet still bulky enough to befit the heavy metal copper.
