INDIAN NAVY @ 100

"India @ 100” is the quintessential discussion that has started, with the celebrations for the 75 years of independence

slowly settling down. We are certainly seeing a New India on multiple fronts and the global community is seeing us differently. India is no more a country that can be left out of any global decision making, irrespective of political, economic, military or even sociocultural dimension. Internally, as well the leadership, policy interventions, capacity and capability building, technology interventions, overall governance mechanism, private-public partnership and many more aspects are at a different level. India is marching ahead at an unimaginable pace and the entire global community is scrambling to be seen in India or with India.

However, the new global order is looking unstable and volatile. Starting with the pandemic and the associated economic downturn, the Russia-Ukraine crisis and the associated energy crisis and inflation, the Chinese belligerence, a true multipolarity and more are having significant fallout on the globalised world order. Interdependence is being undermined, leading to military posturing and nuclear threats. Military buildup and significant investments on military hardware is causing huge socioeconomic and sociocultural imbalance. Global peace and harmony has become a massive causality and governance mechanisms are not able to find relevance in the global forums.
