The Combat Vehicles Research & Development Establishment (CVRDE), a leading arm of India's Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO), has unveiled an ambitious plan to develop a range of fully indigenous engines, spanning 600 to 1500 horsepower (HP), for induction into the armed forces by 2030.
