Walkers are preparing to March to raise cash for MND foundation

A team of intrepid walkers will be visiting Elland Road this weekend as part of a gruelling 156-mile trek to raise awareness and funds for the Darby Rimmer MND Foundation.
Starting and ending at Ossett United, the group will visit another 20 football grounds at all levels of the football pyramid in West Yorkshire, Greater Manchester and Cheshire.
The route includes the grounds of Leeds United, Bradford City and Stockport County, Altrincham FC, Brighouse Town and Atherton Collieries.
Inspired by former footballers Stephen Darby and Marcus Stewart's battle with motor neurone disease, the walk will take more than two days and those involved will complete the journey by walking stages in rotation.
