Plenty was expected of the son of Dark Angel on his racecourse debut at Haydock three weeks ago, with significant market support seeing him go off the 8-13 favourite in the hands of William Buick. He was upstaged by stablemate Maximized, leaving odds-on backers to count their losses, but the winner's subsequent success in last week's Woodcote Stakes at Epsom makes that initial effort look more than respectable.
